The straps can also be adjusted so babies can sleep with their heads elevated, which is often recommended for premature or colicky babies. For parents transitioning their baby out of the bassinet into a crib, the bassinet can be removed from the folding stand and attached to the rails of a crib for an easier move into the nursery.
